WHISPERING WILLOWS KICKSTARTER UPDATE
With a little over a week left, the team at Night Light Interactive are within striking distance of hitting their $15,000 goal for Whispering Willows but they still need some help.
Whispering Willows is a horror puzzle game for OUYA, PC, and Linux. You play as Elena who has come to Willows Mansion in search of her father and discovers a mansion full of spirits. Elena must use her powers to communicate with the spirits and solve puzzles in her quest to find her dad.
If you haven’t played the demo yet, you should! The game has lots of potential. It looks gorgeous, has a great soundtrack, and recently the won “Most Immersive” award at the recent CREATE Game Jam.

When I watched this demo at PAX Prime I was definitely squealing. In terror, with glee, in anticipation… I felt all the feels.

PAX 2012 | League of Legends Skins & Competitions for Dummies - Welcome Home, Nerd
At PAX Prime there was an entire half floor of a massive convention center dedicated to the League of Legends Regional Finals and every single round was ruckus, jam packed with standing room only and viewers watching every gank and surge with baited breath.
We saw this game! Counter Logic Gaming was Blue and they won.
I didn’t realize this was a thing far bigger than Husband and his friends drinking and shouting at each other over headsets til two in the morning on Fridays.
I did a little, because I know a number of people who play and I see the gift cards at CVS and heard that there was some eSports things going on. Well shit, this wasn’t even the finals and it was the biggest of big deals. I was concerned about it being on the 6th floor considering the population density up there.

PAX 2012 | 3 Reasons FIREFALL is best consumed outside of the game
At PAX Prime 2012 I was able to spend time and have a great conversation with David, a Lead Desiginer at Red 5 Studios. Please understand, nothing bad has ever come from the level of enthusiasm, sincerity and thoughtfulness David showed. Firefall is a game created by people who love games and quality and science fiction and stories and badassary. I watched the trailer and was slack-jawed in awe of this amazing story and design. These characters were compelling and this story was engaging. I saw designs that surpassed my science fiction, dystopian dreams. I read comics with narrative and dialogue that had me smiling to myself in public because that shit was AMAZING! Unfortunately, I can’t say all of those loved and amazing things make it into the Firefall game. Firefall the universe and idea are expansive, exciting and brilliant while Firefall the game promises something far different.          http://dlvr.it/26ZfM0
